- Available for those employers whose sale has decreased by a minimum of 30% comparative to previous year. For example, comparing March 2019 sale to March 2020 sale.
- This subsidy is towards employees who are on payroll. Independent contractors do not qualify for this.
- Government introduced this benefit to help employers retain their employees instead of laying them off.
- Maximum amount allowed is $847 per a week per an employee for up to 12 weeks
- May take 6 weeks to receive the benefits from the Government
